ATC Futsal Competition 5-side Held on the 27th of June 07, the 2nd ATC 5 A-side Futsal Tournament was a feast for the eyes, as top teams from both the A-levels, LLB and the staff department competed on the official-sized courts of Astrodome, Subang Summit. This year around we had 8 teams vying to be champions. They were Anonymous, Fu-Yoo, Lord Napkin, Black Mamba all from A-levels, Rocafella, Mean Girls, Bang Balls from the LLB and completing the list, the only staff team; Ah-Ahpu. The four semi-finalists were Rocafella, Black Mamba, Ah-Ahpu and Bang Balls. In the first semi-final, Rocafella defeated Ah-Ahpu emphatically by 3-0.In the other semi-final, Bang Balls defeated Black Mamba by a score of 2-0. The mouth-watering final between the hot favourites Rocafella and the sports carnival champions Bang Balls was a tense affair. Although tensions arose on the court, the game was played with fantastic sportsmanship. In the end, Rocafella held on for the win and took home the first prize. In the 3rd/4th tie, the staff team graciously took 3rd place after comprehensively beating Black Mamba.
Mr Rueben, Dr Raja, Mr Siva and Ms Hema presented prizes to the players. More events like this will be held in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled!
